How to register:

• Form a team of 6 (5 players + 1 reserve) and spend a minimum of $20 each in a single receipt from 6 to 20 July 2018 at any outlets in Northpoint City.
• Click here to download the ‘Application Form’ and submit together with your purchase receipts (applicable to all players) to npcmktg@frasersproperty.com or Customer Service from 6 to 20 July 2018.
• The application form is also available at the Customer Service, Level 2 (North Wing).
• Limited to the first 16 teams, on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Successful registrants will be notified via email by 21 July 2018.

Terms & Conditions:

• This competition is open to all participants, aged 13 years and above with a valid Singapore mailing address and contact number.
• For verification purposes, all participants are required to present their identity cards/student pass/employment pass on the day of the event.
• Team(s) who failed to produce the necessary document(s) and/or did not meet the competition’s criteria will be disqualified immediately.
• In the event that if any of the team(s) is unable to attend the competition on Sunday, 22 July 2018 at Northpoint City within the stipulated timing, the team(s) will be disqualified.
• The Management of Northpoint City and the appointed Event Organiser reserves the right to prohibit a participant from taking part in the competition if the participant is found to be in a physically and mentally unfit condition, and/or harassing other participant(s) or behaving in a manner that obstructs the game, and/or vandalising the premises.
• Prizes issued must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or in kind.
• By participating in this event, participants have agreed to absolve the organizers from liabilities, claims or demands, in any way whatsoever, for any injury or damage to persons or properties, howsoever caused, arising from participating in this competition.
• All participants are required to sign a release, indemnity and waiver form to participate in this event.
• In the event of any dispute, decisions made by the Management of Northpoint City will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
• The Management of Northpoint City reserve the right to publish and use any photograph, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
• All information is correct at the time of publishing. The Management of Northpoint City reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions as it deems fit without prior notice.
  
  Official Game Rules & Regulations

• For verification purposes, all participants are required to present their identity cards/student pass/employment pass in person upon registration on 22 July 2018 at Northpoint City, South Atrium (Level 1) from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
• A briefing will be conducted at 2.30pm and the competition will kick off at 2.45pm.
• Each match will be divided into two 10 minutes halves with a 3 minute half-time interval.
• The match will continue to run despite any foul(s)/substitution made by any team.
• Team(s) with incomplete members will be disqualified.
• There should be 6 players in each team (5 players + 1 reserve player).
• The competition consists of 8 qualifying rounds, 4 quarter-finals, semi-finals, 3^rd place play-off and final.
• Players are required to be in a proper attire and footwear (covered flat-soled shoes, except steel toes).
  
  Game-Play

• A random draw will determine the order in which the games are scheduled.
• A coin will be flipped to decide which team will play offense and defence.
• Players will be positioned to face their opponents.
• The match will begin when the referee rolls the ball from the mid-court starting area.
• 5 players will represent each team at any one time, unless player(s) have been dismissed from the pitch.
• Players can only move from side to side, no player is allowed to move forward or backwards nor switch positions during the match.
• Players are only allowed to play using their feet.
• The ball must remain below the foosball lines at all times.
• If the ball could not be reached within the playing area, the referee will restart the match.
• Only 1 substitution from each team is allowed at any point of time during the game.
• When a goal is scored, the referee will restart the match by rolling the ball from the mid-court starting area.
• The team will earn 1 point for every goal scored by the player(s) and 2 points for every goal scored by the goalkeeper.
• The goalkeeper is not allowed to control the ball for more than 4 seconds.
• In the event of a tie at the end of the game, a tie-breaker will be initiated;
  
  - All players must remain ‘frozen’ in their current position except for the goalkeepers.
  
  - The opposing team will earn 1 goal if any movement were made by the defending player(s) other than the goalkeeper.
  
  - Each goalkeeper gets 3 shots.
  
  Fouls & Misconduct

• Kicking, tripping or attempting to kick/trip an opponent is not allowed.
• Verbal or physical abuse of another player or referee will not be tolerated.
• If a team member is sent off due to misconduct, the player will not be able to participate (if the team proceeds) the next round.
• For fouls committed, the ball will be given to the opponent to restart the game.
  
  - The player in possession of the ball has 4 seconds to restart the game.
  
  The Referee

• There will only be one referee per match, who will officiate the game and acts as the timekeeper.
• The referee’s decision is final.
