Want to create something special this season? Try your hand at caricature drawing, sand-textured painting, quilling, or upcycled jewellery making. With expert makers and artists guiding you, these workshops are the perfect chance to learn a new skill and craft thoughtful, personalised gifts before the year ends!

Meet the makers:

Caricature Workshop with Ye Ruoshi

Learn the art of caricature from local multi-disciplinary artist, Ye Ruoshi! Not only is she a painter and portrait artist, she’s also a caricaturist, book illustrator, art teacher and an experienced Cantonese Opera Performer!

In fact, Ye draws inspiration from her love of Cantonese opera which can be seen in many of her vibrant artworks. To date, she has accomplished over 300 paintings and more than 10,000 pieces of caricature drawings since the start of her career as an artist. Miniature Clay Sculpting with Veavee Ng, Fun with Artz

Unleash your creativity this season by designing your own miniature Christmas-themed bag charms! In this hands-on workshop, learn how to craft adorably-mini models with Japanese air-dry resin clay and techniques such as modeling, texturing and cutting.

Veavee is a Singaporean miniature artist and educator. She specialises in making hyper-realistic models of shop fronts with food models, hawker stalls and diorama room scenery. Featuring intricate details and inspired by everyday life, her creations range from dolls and animals to furniture and ceramics. With 13 years of teaching experience, she offers daily craft classes in her home studio and for corporate events.

Mindful Flower Workshops with Jimin, Nabee Flower

Embark on a meditative and creative journey as you craft your own floral arrangement. Immersive yourself in a mindful experience and leave with an exquisite creation in your hands!

South Korean florist, Jimin’s philosophy centers on inviting flowers into our daily lives, being inspired by their beauty and in the therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the community, promoting both the art of floristry and environmental awareness. Her specialty lies in crafting bespoke floral arrangements with elegant yet whimsical designs.

Blue Bee Tie Dye is an artisan indigo tie-dye studio and workshop run by a Bai Minority family from Dali, China. Their collection includes everything from art pieces and accessories to bags, home decor and handcrafted textiles — all made from naturally hand-dyed fabric.

Using unique dye techniques passed down from generations, each item features elegant, intricate patterns that reflect the rich heritage of the Bai people. A family business, every stage from the dyeing process to the intricate sewing is by the family and their partner Bai artisans.

Nara Dsign

Founder of Nara Dsign, Nadzirah, is an experienced landscape designer with a passion for painting expressive florals. Explore her collection of shawls and aprons, tumblers, bags, wristlets, backpacks and more — all adorned with her original hand-painted designs.

For an extra special touch, you can even request a custom hand-painted design by Nadzirah herself, on your own tumblers, bags and even shoes!

  • Walk-in registration for workshops with workshop fee payable directly to workshop makers. No minimum spend at the mall is required to register for the event.
  • Event is open to FRx Members and their children aged 3 years and above.
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, while slots last.
  • The event is recommended for children aged 3 years and above. Children below 3 years old must at all times be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the event.
  • FRx members (parents/guardians) can select their preferred session for their child; however, it is subject to the maximum capacity per session at any one time, and on a first-come, first-served basis. No changing of slots will be entertained after registration.
  • The Management of Waterway Point, Northpoint City, The Centrepoint and Causeway Point and their appointed Event Organiser will not be liable and shall not be held responsible for any mishaps, injuries and/or loss of property arising in any way, from a child and/or his/her parents/guardian’s participation in the event.
  • In the event of any dispute, decisions made by the Management of Waterway Point, Northpoint City, The Centrepoint and Causeway Point and their appointed Event Organiser will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
